For about a year now I have been having a serious stomach problem. I have been in and out of hospitals and doctors many times and been through many tests and no one could figure out what was wrong. I have been on about 10 different pills now and of course nothing has realy helped and I finally got referred to a specialist which took months to get into. Since seeing him I have had one more test. Tomorrow is the last test were hoping but it is definitely the worst one. I have to get an endoscope. I am really not looking forward to this. In case you don’t know what that is it is a wire with a camera on it that is inserted through the mouth down the throat and into your stomach. YAY (rolling of the eyes).I also have to take out all of my piercings. I only have 11 but I dont feel the same and naked without them. I have to admit I am a little scared definitely nervous , but not as much as I am pissed that I have to be awake for this :S Any ways wish me luck

I thought I would post a quick update to those who care…. The endoscope was pretty nasty. Although it was fairly quick. It didn’t really feel like it but it was. So what they found out right away was that my stomach isn’t digesting food properly, it is getting stuck.…… Also they found a few abnormal spots where they took biopsy’s from. Hopefully results soon. I do feel really sick today from it all………………………………............................................................craziness

New update and hopefully the last

I finally got the results of my endoscope. I found out that I have Motility Disorder. Basically what it is is that everything that I eat is staying in one spot and not moving down at all and it will all stay there for many, many days. Which is causing a lot of stomach acid, pain, and nausea. Unfortunately there is no cure. All that they can do is put me on pills for the rest of my life to help break up the food and help to move it along… And every once in a while I have to go get checked again. They did find something else something about some sort of flaps in my stomach (lol don’t ask it was something like that), but I have to wait until March of next year to figure that out. But I will worry about that when the time comes…… So any one else living with this???
